How To Guasha Your Face and Neck.

You may have seen people get guasha massage and come out with large red marks on their body? Well, the face is different. It doesn't leave marks when done correctly.

A facial guasha massage gently releases tension, increases circulation and production of anti-aging molecules, collagen, and elastin.

It promotes lymphatic drainage, allowing for a clear complexion.

guasha technique

What do you want from your guasha facial massage?

Do you want to promote lymphatic drainage?

Starting in the midline of your face, holding the skin firmly with your fingers of one hand on your chin, use the guasha tool to slide along the chin and gently sweep the gua sha tool along your jawline ending at the ear.

Move the guasha behind the earlobe and then slide it down the neck.

Repeat 3 times on both sides.

Do you want to reduce puffiness around the eyes?

Start by putting on an oil or lotion designed for your skin type.

Starting in the midline of your face, holding the skin firmly with your fingers of one hand on your eye, use the heart shaped side of the guasha to gently sweep the under-eye area out to the hairline at the top of the ear.

Give the guasha a little wiggle after each sweep.

Repeat 3 times on both sides.

Do you want to contour your nose?

Lightly scrape the tool up the bridge of your nose.

Bring it down along the side of the nose to the cheek.

Give the guasha a little wiggle after each sweep.

Repeat 3 times on both sides.

Do you want to relieve tension in the head?

Starting in the midline of your face, holding the skin firmly with your fingers of one hand on the midline of your forehead, slide the flat edge of the guasha towards the hairline across the forehead.

Give the guasha a little wiggle after each sweep.

Repeat 3 times on both sides.

Do you want to firm the neck?

Glide the gua sha tool up towards the jaw, starting at the base near the collarbone. Move up from the center, then work your way around the side of the neck until you reach your shoulder, always working the tool upwards.

Give the guasha a little wiggle after each sweep.

Repeat 3 times on both sides.
